    This is not a post card but listed here to be visible to Wisconsin buyers.  It is a railroad 25 ride ticket booklet was issued to C.E. Hooker of
    Waupun
    ,
    WI
    while he was affiliated with the Wisconsin Times newspaper.
    It is good between all stations on the above two railroads and expired
    December 31, 1883
    , almost 140 yeas ago.  The booklet is intact except for the agent's stub and all 25 rides remain.  Culver E. Hooker was a well known citizen of Waupun and an attorney having graduated from the
    University
    of
    Wisconsin
    in 1878.  In 1883 he was associated with the Waupun Times and in later years (1911) became vice president of the National Bank of Waupun.  At some time after the 1880's, railroads were prohibited from issuing free transportation to non-railroad employees.  Excellent condition.
