VINTAGE WINNIE THE POOH MERRY CHRISTMAS POSTER 72" X 36" WALT DISNEY RARE & HTF. According to Sotheby's, this poster is from 1970’s and was a special US cinema/movie theater Christmas poster. Printed in the USA by Walt Disney Productions. This poster has "WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS" with a copyright symbol next to it in the bottom left, but nothing else to identify it, or the date.
Condition:
I have only seen a few these ever sold and all of them had been displayed with either tape on the corners or pin holes. This heavy paper stock poster does not have any marking that it has ever been displayed. The poster has some age tanning on the very top 7” of the front that runs straight across and also on the back side that can be seen in photos. It is a little darker on the left and fades a little to the right as pictured. The poster has no rips / tears or tape repairs. Coloring looks great with no fading. Some small crease lines and light wear throughout but overall a great looking poster that is super hard to come by. Only a handful have ever been sold in the last 20 years.
