Vintage Hawaiian Polynesian Tiki Menehune Figurines

Description

I initially listed and described these menehune figurines as POSSIBLY being attributed to Julene Mechler but was quickly corrected by a very knowledgeable and helpful member of the eBay community:
"These figurines were not made by Julene Mechler. The paint loss is because they are cold painted, a process that Julene did not use. Also one figurine is marked with the original price of 1.25. An original Julene figurine would never have sold for that low a price."
I searched the internet and found identical pieces that referenced Julene Mechler as the artist responsible and I erroneously assumed she was the artist.
The figurines could use a cleaning and aside from some minor paint loss, are in pretty good condition--see photos.  Email questions/requests for more photos.
