For parts/project of luthier/craftsman. It was uninstalled directly from a Cortez Ferrari Japanese electric guitar, last photo for reference. Adult good used pre-owned condition by it's age (40 years approx.). These are unique and very rare! so please don't let them beat you! as you'll hardly find another ones like this again, so please don't miss this one chance. The Cortez brand name was established around 1960 by Jack Westheimer, a Chicago based importer and distributor. Westheimer first used the Cortez brand for a series of Japanese made good-quality Martin-style dreadnought acoustics. Most Cortez electric guitars were Strat and Les Paul copies, made by Matsumoku. Cortez guitars were always made in Japan, they were built by the highly respected Matsumoku company and the Cortez brand continued until around 1986. This was the time, when Matsumoku was making very good guitars and with various brands, as well as with the brand with which he was best known, Aria. Matsumoku Industrial was a Japanese manufacturing company based in Matsumoto, Nagano, between 1951 and 1987. Established in 1951 as a woodworking and cabinetry firm, Matsumoku is remembered as a manufacturer of guitars and bass guitars, including some Epiphone. Matsumoku produced guitars, or parts of guitars, for Vox, Guyatone, FujiGen Gakki, Greco, Ibanez, Yamaha, Hondo, Aria and Norlin (parent company of Gibson). American owned Unicord contracted Matsumoku to build most of its Univox and Westbury guitars. St. Louis Music imported Matsumoku-built Electra Guitars. Matsumoku built many early Greco guitars as well as Memphis, Vantage, Westbury, Westminster, C.G.Winner, Cutler, Lyle and Fell. Washburn Guitars contracted with Matsumoku to build some of its electric guitars and basses from 1979 through 1984. You are acquiring a piece of history. Whether you are a collector or want to restore and play them, this is an excellent choice. I'm selling them for financial reasons. You will own something which is extraordinarily beautiful and rare. Please review photos and feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns, but please don't let them beat you! This is a very nice blast from the past. I haven't seen any of these, neither similar, here on eBay right now, so this is unique and therefore very rare and really hard to find again. Will be shipped fast and very well packaged to protect it with USPS First Class Package or USPS Priority Mail Service. I ship from Monday to Friday, before noon, between 8:30 and 9:30 in the morning, sometimes I ship on Saturdays, but also before noon. I always go to the post office either on foot or by bicycle, since I don't have a car, unfortunately. You can also check my other active lists that I have, where I have more guitar parts for sale. I am a 31-year-old that due to external problems, could not complete my Architecture degree, a decade ago, now I am dedicating myself fully to music, which is what I have always been passionate about, since I come from an artistic family. I am the youngest son of the #1 Master of the Revolver Hector Martinez "El Borrado" in the film "El Topo" by Alejandro Jodorowsky (1969-1970). He was also a musician during the time of the 60's until the 90's and early 2000's. My father passed away in 2004, when I was 13 years old. I never learned to play the guitar, but when my father was still alive, I studied piano as a child, I spent three years in musical initiation, playing piano, then I spent a year in percussions and I had music theory, all those four years. I recommend you to follow me, because soon, I will be publishing several more guitar parts that I have, since, as I said a moment ago, I am dedicating myself fully to music and more than anything to guitars. I do not have a wife or children, but I have my eight pet cats, that I take great care of, and that they are my responsibility in this life. The Christmas season is getting closer, we are only two months away from Christmas! and many people are already starting to buy gifts for that important date of the year, so do not miss this unique opportunity to take this item with you! so that it arrives on time at your door before they start the delays in the mail, due to so many shipments that they will be receiving soon. Having said that, thanks so much in advance for your support, this transaction will help a lot to my mom and me.
