Used USCG or USN Regulation 22" x 48" x 9" Signal Pennant Flag - ANSWER (NR)

Description

Offered is a vintage USED original USCG (United States Coast Guard) 22" x 48" x 9" cloth signal flag. This type of flag is also used by the US Navy with the meaning "ANSWER". This particular one was manufactured by Lighthouse for the Blind (3rd photo). The flag is made from 5 separate red and white panels stitched together (NOT printed). There is a brass ring on the top leading corner (4th photo) and a brass swivel/snap clip on a short lanyard at the bottom leading corner (5th photo). This flag appears to be in great (lightly used,slightly dirty) condition, with no visible damage or undue wear.
I acquired this flag (along with many others) from a US Coast Guard Cutter that was decommissioned in Seattle, WA a few years back.
