Resurrects a '60s Relic
The TV Jones Super'Tron has all the heart of the 1960s pickup of the same name, with a slightly more defined output and a super sweet breakup. The Super'Tron uses blades rather than pole pieces for greater inductance and excellent volume retention between strings — a definite plus for benders, detuners, and those of us who play "between the notes." TV Jones's Super'Tron sports some improvements over the brittler-sounding '60s style: its even, mellow voice and twangy bite complement just about any style of music, from jazz to punk rock. The neck position Super'Tron is robust and clear with a smooth, jazzy midrange, while the bridge position is slightly hotter for greater sustain and breakup. Each sold separately.

But unlike classic pickups, TV Jones pickups are lightly wax saturated to reduce microphonic feedback onstage.
