If you are looking for that authentic vintage single coil tone made famous by the Fender Stratocaster, look no further than these CFFA USA made single coil pickups.  These pickups are made right here in the USA, in my shop using the same specifications as the originals, with a couple of upgrades.  These are perfect for that guitar project or replacing cheaper stock pickups.  They can be used in the neck, middle or bridge position.

Alnico V (6.1K resistance) staggered pole pieces
Variable hand scatter-wound copper coils
Cloth pickup tape to protect the coils
Vintage push back cloth wire
Wax potted to reduce any unwanted feedback

These single coil pickups produce a beautiful, full bodied profile.  They give you that “quack” everyone is looking for along with the right amount of jangle made famous by the originals.  They respond well to the tone control.  I personally use these in my SSH Stratocaster.  They clean up very nice, but produce some nice vintage rock and roll tone, as well.  I love how they break up, just enough when getting pushed by the amp.  Dial off the volume and they give you a nice creamy response.
** If using these in an SSH setup with 500K potentiometers, you may want to use a 470K resistor to knock down the highs.  If you have a standard 3 single coil set up with 250K pots, no adjustment is necessary.  If you need a resistor, let me know at the time of your order and I will include it, free of charge.
