Our vintage correct recreation of the 1946 Gibson single-coil with all of the sparkle and growl that makes a P90 neck pickup so special.
The dual alnico 5 bar magnets, and the short, wide bobbins give the P90 its unique tonal character with a powerful midrange and higher output than most other types of single coils. In the neck position, this pickup sounds sweet and smooth, and will deliver big fat sounding chords. This pickup is a drop-in replacement for any traditional Gibson-sized P90 soapbar.Pair with our Vintage P90 bridge for a perfectly matched set, or combine with either or our Hot P90 or Custom P90bridge pickups for a more versatile, aggressive setup. Our Vintage P90 is wound with plain enamel wire, and we add extra mojo by winding them on the same Leesona winder that was used in the 1950s in the old Gibson factory. Comes with vintage braided single-conductor hookup cable and is wax potted for squeal free performance.

Please note that our equipment carries a USA warranty, so all international warranty issues must be handled by Phantom48. All items must be returned to Phantom48 for all warranty repair or replacement issues. You will be responsible for all shipping/handling expenses.
