The Seymour Duncan SLD-1n is a vintage correct single-coil Lipstick Tube neck pickup for Danelectro® and similar guitars. Recommended for country, pop, surf, blues, jazz and classic rock.
These are faithful recreations of the American originals. All of the Seymour Duncan Lipsticks use Alnico magnets and a special winding spec to bring out the great tone in your original or re-issue Danolectro®. The tone is bright and jangly, and works especially well for rhythm playing.
The SLD-1n neck pickup is Reverse Wound/Reverse Polarity (RWRP) to create a humbucking effect when used together with the SLD-1b bridge model (available separately). For original or re-issue Danelectro®, Silvertone® or other instruments that use the original-size Lipstick Tube pickups. Traditional body mounted pickup with long legs. See the Stratocaster® section for a pickguard-mounted version (SLS-1).
