9-volt active pickups, like its predecessors: the 6-string and 7-string versions of the Blackouts, but built to direct retrofit nearly all 8-string electric guitars. Perfect for old school metal and new school screamers, especially dark pounding metal that incorporates extreme lows.

Balanced inputs with a differential preamp for reduced noise. Ceramic magnets and calibrated wind for both neck and bridge versions provide for greater dynamic range and allow for specific character in each register with less compression than other active pickups.
