Description

Scatterdog Pups. Our handwound PAF style pickups are some of the best sounding humbuckers around. We use the highest quality parts available and scatterwind them by hand the same way they did in the 50s, the tone is reminiscent of vintage PAF pickups. We use nickel silver baseplates, long Alnico magnets, maple spacers, nickel silver pole screws and slugs, brass baseplate vintage correct screws plus plain enamel (purple wire ) that will give that vintage tone of the past...  Its the material that makes the difference.This set includes one neck and bridge pickup, made to vintage specs. These ohm out around 7.3 at the neck and around 8.1 at the bridge, (depending on temperature and meter this may vary slightly) we also use Gibson style Gavitt braided wire. All pickups are wax potted... Why pay a premium for top name pickups when you can get a set built just as good and all by hand ... RETURNS
Returns will only be accepted for items that are not as described and must be recieved back within 30 days of receipt of the item depending upon listing. Shipping cost will NOT be refunded. If an item is damaged in shipment or arrives non-functioning, then a claim must be filed (see "Shipping Damage" section). Applicable serial numbers will be checked prior to refund of purchase price.
