Dragonfire Phat Screamer passive pickups are wound a bit hotter than standard Screamers to give you even more edge with aggressive styles of play. The Phats use oversized poles for a pretty impressive presentation. These phat poles also add functionality to allow for clearer articulation in your bends, pulls, and fast leads. You’ll be able to ring your notes off the fretboard like never before. Of course, the Phat Screamers more than live up to their name giving you a “Phat” bottom end and “Screaming” high capability to cut through the mix.
With crisp, clean, and modern tone, Phat Screamers are hot wound and use ceramic magnets. Allowing for power and articulation, these pickups will definitely give you the authority and presence you crave.
The Phat Screamer pickup is an in-your-face style of pickup with oversized flat top slug style polepieces available in a variety of colors to personalize your set-up. These humbuckers are 4-wire so you can coil-split for even more versatility.

The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.
Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our wiring harnesses. We offer pickup incorporation into any harness ordered in the

free of charge.
