Guardians are passive humbucker pickups offering solid, timeless and traditional AlNiCo V magnet performance. For authentic sound, lucid functionality, vintage tone, strong treble, midrange focus and steadfast character, these Covered Guardians will not disappoint.
Covered Guardians feature 1 row of exposed regulating screw style polepieces on each pickup. These pickups are standard covered humbucker size. They are not the same size as standard uncovered humbucker pickups. Check your measurements prior to purchase and contact us if you have any questions.

The included pickup wire color codes will let you know the hot, ground, and coil split wire colors for these 4-wire pickups. Basic instructions for a sample standard installation are included. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible components and set-up styles, we do not provide specific information or diagrams for installation. You should be able to use the basic information we provide to match up with any diagram or instructions you choose to use.
Installation requires soldering and compatible system. We provide enough pickup lead wire to complete installation wiring in standard usage situations.
If you’d like to update your wiring and have us create a new wiring system for you, check out our wiring harnesses. We offer pickup incorporation into any harness ordered in the

free of charge.

Harnesses and pickups purchased in separate transactions are not eligible for this service.
