    Description

    This amazingly preserved vintage 1905 Steiff Teddy Bear is in wonderful condition and is in the extremely rare white color (which appears beige).  It has been stored in a climate controlled environment since it was made.  It was used mainly as a "prop" for my grandmother's bedroom when she was a baby, so wear is virtually undetectable on this teddy bear.  It even has a functional noisemaker, which is rare because they usually deteriorate over time.  The Teddy Bear (including the shoe button eyes) is completely original, and all of the joints of the arms, legs, and head swivel like new.  The mohair is in great condition and is not worn or patchy like is common on most bears of this era. Similar Steiff Teddy Bears with these features have been proffesionally appraised at up to ,000.
